Most of the following transportation options can be booked by our staff for your convenience and at more reasonable prices.
Driving from San Jose to Manuel Antonio
Getting to The Falls Resort at Manuel Antonio is a very scenic tour. From Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) or San Jose Airport as many folks refer to it, take the Pan-American Highway to Atenas. Exit at Atenas following directions to Orotina and continue through the winding mountain road following signs to Jaco and then to Parrita and finally Quepos.
Quepos and Manuel Antonio are right next to one another. Quepos is actually the small town at the bottom of the hill before ascending up into the Manuel Antonio resort area. As you cross a small bridge with the bay to your right and the town of Quepos to the left, head five or six blocks before turning LEFT AFTER the Hotel Kamuk, the Farmacia Quepoa and a small park. Follow this road up the hill for approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) and look for the Falls Resort sign on the left. If you see a large plane made into a restaurant (EL Avion) on the right you have just passed us.
The total distance from the international airport is 90 miles (150 kilometers), and will take around 3 hours most of the time.
